PREPOSITIONS
Prepositions are words that connect nouns or pronouns to verbs or adjectives in sentences.
Example: I am returning home with my friend Megan
Usually prepositions show a relationship in space or time or a logical relationship between two or more people, places or things. They are most commonly followed by a noun phrase or pronoun.
Example: The church is opposite the theatre
I will send the email to you in due course

In this section we will look at the following types of prepositions:
- Prepositions of time
- Prepositions of place
- Prepositions of movement (to, towards, into, out of, etc.)
We will also explore the use of :
- Common Verbs + prepositions (listen to, apologize for, agree to, etc)
- Common Adjectives + prepositions (afraid of, different from, angry with, etc.)
